Injection to ESR
Introduction
Injection to Experimental Storage Ring can be done directly from SIS18 (SIS18_TE_ESR) or via Fragment Separator where exotic nuclei are produced (SIS18_TS_ESR). The beam path via Fragment Separator lies in NE3 and direct path goes via NE5. The ESR itself is NE2.
Experiments on ESR belong to APPA/NUSTAR collaboration (Yuri Litvinov)

The standard direct-injection optics is: HEST/ESR/SIS18_TE_ESR_STANDARD.
The optics via FRS is: HEST/ESR/SIS18_TS_ESR_STANDARD.
