BeamTime2019/Dec18-19

(return)

On December 18th we have reached the one before last screen on the beam line to Cryring. Unfortunately the last dipole GHTYMH2 turned out to have problems with power supply. As it was late and reperation looked serious we came back next day. When the dipole was repaired, we got beam all the way to Cryring.

Setting were not optimized, beam was scrapped somewhere in the initial area of the beamline, probably the first two dipoles after extraction from ESR.

A paramodi file before the GHTYMH2 dipole was repaired: 2019-12-18_20-39-48_ESR_DECELERATION_EXTRACTION_CRYRING_17Dec19_1_all_tabs.C1.txt

A complete paramodi from next day, beam seen after Cryring magnetic septum: 2019-12-19_12-29-59_ESR_DECELERATION_EXTRACTION_transfered_to_CRYRING_19Dec19.txt

Screenshots along the beamline (from Dec 18th, on the 19th the beam was better - more intensity and smaller emittance): 2019-12-18_16-22-07_tcl1031_cupid.png 19-12-18_210741_20191218_154127_tcl1031_cupid.png 19-12-18_210715_20191218_154445_tcl1031_cupid.png 19-12-18_210546_20191218_172022_tcl1031_cupid.png 19-12-18_210509_20191218_173731_tcl1031_cupid.png 19-12-18_211013_20191218_205617_tcl1031_cupid.png
