(return)

  1. setting up a parallel beam to HADES.
  2. not very divergent beam, 'telescopic' optics.
  3. first HADES forwad halo detector was reporting large divergence, but based on GHADDG4G and Start detector beam size measurement it was concluded that the opening at forward halo detector cannot be larger than the vacuum chamber diameter.
  4. Beam on Start detector is too much focused (a bit less than 1.5 mm total size, while target size 2 mm) - trying to defocus target and decrease divergence, not successful.
